In this lesson we are introducing how to make sentences in the present progressive form, such as “I’m eating.” “I’m studying.” and “I’m driving.” The basic construction in the present tense is VERB STEM + -고 있어요 [-go i-sseo-yo], and you can find out how to say this in the past tense and the future tense as well by listening to the lesson. Be sure to answer the quiz at the end of the lesson as well!

Anyone who knows how to say first, as in first I did this, mind telling me?
우선 and 먼저 are both words that mean first, first of all. You can also use 부터 from the earlier lesson: 저는 일찍 일어나서 샤워부터 했어요.

In Korean you can’t use the present progressive to express the future, but instead use the present tense. So how would you say “what do you do after school” and “what are you doing after school”

어제 이 시간에 (오정 12시15분에) 한국어 드라마 봐고 있었어요.

No mistakes, just don’t use 너 with 존댓말. In worst case you can say 당신, but better avoid. The other option is to drop 요
지금 아훕시 삼십팔분이에요. 어제가 이 시간에 드라마 봐고 있었어요 (봤어요)

열다 is to open, doors, drawers, windows, boxes etc.. but now I see it’s also to hold a party or meeting
Though if 석진 say it’s perfect, then I guess 파티하다 also works. But you still need 이 before 시간에.

Yesterday at this time I studied Korean lesson number 9.
동시 is to do multiply things at same time (simultaneously).
And learn to type ㅔ or ㅐ. It’s equivalent to O and P on the keyboard.
어제 이시간에 샤워하고 있었어요.
I was taking a shower at this moment yesterday.
