Can both 생일은 or 생일이 be used in the conversation here? I am still a little confused when forming sentences with either subject or topic marking particles.
It is decided by the context of the sentence whether you can use 생일은 or 생일이.
제 생일은 5월 18일이에요.

I live in Southern California and these gross spiders are trynig to take over my apartment. My apt is very clean and i’ve had them come out and spray around all windows and doors 3 times. I can’t find where they are coming from but I find 1-2 a day, sometimes more. My 8 month old got bit and the bites swelled up to the size of quarters and I got bit on my arm, didn’t swell as much but was itchy and it burned. I keep killing them and they keep coming back, wish I knew of a way to get rid of them for good

제 상일이 9월 26일이에요 > 제 생일은 9월 26일이에요. it is still good to use 이 after 생일 but it will be used when you answer someone’s question like “Whose birthday is September 26th?”.

It’s sad how much older than I actually am that this makes me in Korea!
So there should be no space between the date and the verb?
There should be a space between the number and date, but there is no space between number and month.
제 생일은 십이월 이십팔 일이에요.
