Workbook – Level 1 Lessons 21-25

takingpictures-1

안녕하세요! We are back with another workbook. (In fact, we will be posting another workbook very soon!) This workbook is the lessons 21-25 in Level 1.

How to use the workbook:
1. First open the PDF file available in the sidebar (or in the iTunes podcast feed) and try answering the questions yourself.
2. Check out the correct answers section at the end of the PDF.
3. Listen to the audio file to listen to the correct pronunciation of the words and phrases used in the PDF.

You can view the PDF here or download it here. And after you learn the basics, try writing your own Korean sentences and get corrections from native speakers through HaruKorean, our 1:1 correction service.

Thank you everyone for your support! If you’d like to support us and what we are doing by making a small donation, please check out our support us page at talktomeinkorean.com/support-us.

  3. I feel like I’ve abandoned TTMIK for a long time, I miss listening to you guys, hehe. But to be honest, now I have a lot of material to go through so I’m a bit happy about that. I can’t wait to try out this workout and the Level 2 one.

    정말 감사합니당! ^^

    • Julian :) In fact, I can’t wait to publish something that you will find ‘challenging’ :) because you already know a lot of the stuff that you’ve introduced in the previous lessons ;)

    • I actually learn a few stuff too with lessons of things that I know already thanks to your awesome tips and explanation. I’ve also learned new ways of using some particles or some nuances in others.

I can’t wait to become an intermediate level student, haha.

Please include the romanization of the korean characters in the answers (PDF file)! For some reason it’s not included in the lessons 21-25 but it was in the other workbooks.

I guess we posted our corrections at the same time lol. Did you say you have to correct level 2?

  8. 민데 says:

    Points of clarification(Lesson #21):

When using 안 on 하다 verbs it doesn’t go in front of the whole verb, just before the 하다?

I know you said that 지 않다 is not that common but for the exercises, if we were to use that form would it be:

    2. 버리지 않았어요?
    3. 매지 않아요 (or 맵지 않아요)?
    4. 한국어 공부하지 않았어요?

  9. Rudi says:

Doneeee with level one, four more to go. thanks again teachers, cheers!!

  10. Elise Kate says:

    정말 감사합니다!

너 때문에 나의 한국어 개선 있어요. / 너 때문에 나의 한국어 개선해요 ?

I have another question, what is the dictionary form of spicy? 매워요.. is it 매우다? or is it different with adjectives?
And if it is 매우다 is it the same with others (무서워요 > 무서우다? although this doesn’t look right so it’s probably wrong haha ^^)

i dont know where to write this, so i just write it down here… i really really really want to thank you guys for making this great site. i really love learning korean and i must say ttmik is by far the best site for learning it! your lessons are so helpful and they are never boring. so a huge huge thanks to you guys, i really appreciate your work that you put in this site!

  13. Asha_Lan says:

Hello, I am not so clearly about the expression of “how much was it?” in Korean “얼마 였어요?”
Because the word 얼마 ends with ㅏ, so it should be with 았어요, isn’t it? confused…

  14. Hannah says:

You know for a free website, this is better than most websites that ask for money. Thank you for the great explanations for the lessons!

  15. Gosia says:

    Hi
I have a question, why I didn’t study Korean is 한국어 공부 안 했어요 but not 한국어 안 공부했어요 ?
Are negative sentences with 하다 verb written like this ?

PS. Thank you very much for making this site. I found learning with you very easy and funny :] Greetings from Poland^^

    • jinseokjin says:

      Hi Gosia,
Actually, there won’t be a problem if you use the latter sentence “한국어 안 공부했어요”.
Normally, it will be natural if the 안 added before the verb. Of course, 공부하다 can be regarded as a verb and that’s why I said that you can also say it, but I normally regard it as 공부를 하다(do the study).
In that case, the verb is 하다. So, the 안 placed before the 하다.
      Thanks for your comment. :)
