How would you say this (informally): “Hey Kevin, where have you been? Are you sick? Did you hurt yourself? Everyone misses you!” 감사합니다.

    안녕하세요!

I hope you can help me with this question:
How do you say that you don’t want to do something in Korean?

For example when I want to say “I don’t want to learn.”
The normal form would be “공부하고 싶어요.”, right? How would you negate this form? Is it maybe “공부하고 안 싶어요.”? I’m confused with where to put the “안” in the sentence.
And could you also tell me how the example would look like with “배우다”?

Thank you so much, 감사합니다, 안녕히 계세요!

Annyeonghaseyo! I just started learning. Just finished Level 1 Lesson 8. My question is; should I learn to converse and hangul altogether at the same time first or should I learn conversation first or hangul first? Gamsahapnida!

      Hi Leif,
I think it is up to you. :) However I heard it is quite easy to learn Hangeul so in my opinion, it will be better to learn Hangeul first. :)

      Hi Seokjin,
Wow you are right. Learning Hangeul is fun too! I can now read short and simple phrases. :D

Hey there would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re utilizing? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a fair price? Kudos, I appreciate it!

I was beginning your course (after using Pimsleur and some self-teaching) to further my study of the Korean language, and I am on Level 1, Lesson 4 as of right now. I noticed that you used “죄송합니다” as a way of expressing that you are apologizing for something. In other lessons, and what I use most often for my Korean friends, is “미안합니다”. I would like to know what the difference is, if any, thank you. :) Also, thank you for such a fun program to learn with, it is very helpful!

I need to understand the grammar for all of this to stick in my head so, in the sentence – 쇼핑히 하고싶요, how does 쇼핑하다 conjugate into 쇼핑히?
    Hope this makes sense.
    감삼합니다

What is the difference between 질투하다 and 부럽다? They all seem to mean “to be jealous” or “to be envious”.

Hi again, I know I just got started and I just finished Hangeul Step 3. But I’m still confuse withㅐ and ㅔ. Costs me my marks in the Quiz. How to differentiate the sound? Repeated the audio so many times but still couldnt find the difference. :(
