The first USA World Series was over 100 years ago, when baseball was not played in other countries, so it really was a series to determine the best baseball team in the world.

Baseball affects the way one thinks/conceptualizes, so countries that play baseball have something in common. Japan, Korea and the US are brought together by their love of baseball.

    Good topic!

    I thought of a couple of questions….

Who is the Babe Ruth of Korea?

Which team is the New Yankees of Korea?

What are some baseball terms that are used in everyday conversation?

Maybe you have to do a Baseball Part II Iyagi!

As I was just recently into Baseball, my answer may not be correct but I will try. :)

Who is the Babe Ruth of Korea?
      > Lee Seung Yeop. He is the player who did most Homeruns in Korea.

Which team is the New Yankees of Korea?
      >Hm… I don’t know well about this questions. Maybe Lotte Giants??

What are some baseball terms that are used in everyday conversation?
      > hm…. 안타(hit), 삼진(strike out), 땅볼, 아웃… Many terms are used.
