Korean Vocabulary Plus #8 – 노래

takingpictures-1

안녕하세요! This is Korean Vocabulary Plus #8! We introduce grammar points and sentence building tips through our regular lessons, and we do not try to have you memorize a lot of vocabulary words all at once because learning new words doesn’t work that way! So our regular lessons will always be the way they are, without too many vocab words to remember. We want our listeners to only focus on the grammar points that we introduce through the lessons. So through Korean Vocabulary Plus video lessons, we introduce new words, one by one. But to help you remember the word better through context, and for those of you who already know the certain words but want to learn some more expressions using the words, we will also give you some sample sentences through the videos.

Thank you once again for your support, everyone!

    감사합니다 <3 😀

    • 기범 씨가 들어보시면 저와 같은 말을 할 거예요.

      그걸 노래라고 한거야? ㅋㅋ

    • 기범 🙂
      그걸 노래라고 한 거야? ㅠ.ㅠ
      음치예요. ㅠ.ㅠ
      그래서 노래 부르는 거 싫어해요.

  • Mr.Kim

I really enjoy the concept of starting out with a simple sentence then building up to more complicated sentences using the same words as before, and the ease of correlating the Korean words to the English translation, which makes learning the sentences that much more fun and enjoyable.

    • Mr. Kim 🙂
Glad to hear that you like the concept of this lessons. 😀
      Have fun!! 🙂

  • I’m so happy I could gramatically understand all sentences except for the last one ㅠㅠ but I will get there! 🙂

    • 저도~~~ the sentence looks like informal…

    • Julian 🙂
I’m sure you can understand the last one soon! 😀
Keep up the good work. 화이팅! ^^

  • 석진 오빠 노래 불러 주세요! ㅋㅋㅋ I like the ending part of this video.

  • caddie

    안녕하세요,선생님들!

I enjoyed watching this video but I couldn’t gramatically understand the last sentence ” 그걸 노래 라고 한 거야? “.Can elaborate more about it gramatically?

” 라고 한 거 ” does it mean ” so called ” ? I just guessed from your video English translation. Not sure if it is corrected. And what does this ” 야” mean? Does it just express the talking person’s anger or unhappiness???

    감사합니다!!! ^^

    • Caddie 🙂

      Good question.

~라고 means a lot of things, but here, it means “as”

So 노래라고 means “supposed to be a song”

그걸 하다 –> to do that.

So 그걸 노래라고 하다 means “You just did that and you expected it to be a song?”

      🙂

  • Samier

    ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 감사합니다 주셔서 레슨!

    노래방은 같아요 ^^

    • Samier 🙂 Thanks for listening! 항상 들어 줘서 고마워요.

“레슨 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다” will be more natural 🙂

  • Miso

    다들 안녕하세요! 🙂
휴가에서 돌아왔는데 이젠 늦어지고 싶지 않으면 많은 레슨 들어야 해요.
TTMIK는 잘 설계된 웹싸이트 이라서 어렵지 않을 거 같아요.
이번 레슨에서는 석진 씨는 저를 웃게 하고 경은 언니는 평소처럼 귀여웠어요.
    어쨌든 돌아와서 진짜 기뻐요. 😀
It’s a pity we don’t get to hear SeokJin and KyeongEun sing 🙁 Maybe the editor wanted to save our ears >.<"

    • Miso 🙂

네 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ but they are actually quite good at singing. 다음에 석진 씨 노래를 들을 수 있는 기회가 있지 않을까요? ㅎ

  • ingrid 잉그리드
