“Yes” in Korean

  • 비디오 너무 좋아요! ^^ ㅋㅋ

  • Joe

Doesn’t that usually mean like, “good” or “that’s fine” or am I thinking of something else?

    • Duck

Yes, usually that means “good” or “sounds good.” You’re right. But in that case she can say “좋아요(jo-ah-yo).” She did not use just “네(ne)”, but “좋아요” because she really wanted to have some pizza. In English, we can say “Yes !!!!!” with an strong accent, but in Korean, we can say “좋아요!” It has a meaning of strong agreement.

may I correct yt sentences slightl? 😀

=>첫번째 비디오 중에 효진씨의 그 자연스러운 “오빠가 쏘는거죠?” 와 마지못한 “네…”가 정말 재미있었어요.

so here in comment, 와/과 or 랑/이랑 is better^^

  • Hehe, You guys could have a lesson all about the various meanings of Oppa heheh

    • There are not various meanings in Oppa. ^^

  • “좋아요”대신에 “헐”라는말쓰면됀거죠?

    • 안돼요! “좋아요” 대신에 “헐” 이라고 쓰면 안 돼요.

We often say “헐” when we hear something weird or outrageous.

      For example,

      A: 500원 줄 테니까, 과자, 물, 우유, 고기 사오세요.

      B: 헐.

      A: 난 정말 잘 생긴것 같애.

      B: 헐.

  • Interesting video.A good lesson for non-verbal communication as well.

  • lol for the jumping. i really like this page. all of you guys have this friendly aura and not intimidating to watch. kamsahaeyo~
