Hello. I am enjoying your Korean lessons very much. I am hoping you can help me with a problem My daughter and I are visiting Korea in April 2010 and we will be flying into Seoul and at some stage travelling to Gyeongnam. I think at is also called Kyungnam Province. We will be going to Youngsan-myun, Changnyung gun, Kyungnam Province. I have been trying to find information about the area but have not been able to find a map. Would you be able to tell me a site that could help me. I would like to have as much information as possible to make the travelling trouble free. Thank you for the lessons. You sound as if you have fun making them. Paula

meeting agenda shall not have any lecture, but meeting each other, talk, play, have fun
well , i hope this will happen soon :)
Hi guys, I just wanna say that I’m so happy to have found your website. I found it through searching for podcasts about learning Korean. Then I found your website and I instantly loved it. For me, as a web designer, how the website looks is very important. If the website doesn’t look good I won’t even consider using it. So lucky for you guys I love your website!
Keep it going and keep the lessons coming! Don’t stop now! 감사합니다 (and this bit of Korean even typed without checking back … ;-))
Cheers from Dutch-guy Mark from Beijing, China.
PS: i’ll be in Seoul for the weekend. Any chance I might get to meet you guys? :P
Hi Mark :) Thanks for finding us and using our site!! :) I’m happy that you find our site useful!! And our website design was done by Carlo Franco (http://carlofranco.ca) so be sure to check out his website as well! :) And you are going to be in Seoul for the weekend? You mean this weekend? :)
I will make sure I will check out the designers website and work. It looks really interesting. I saw that he also did the design for the KoreanClass101 website. He’s design is really clean and ‘now’. Is he any relation to you guys?
Yes, I will be in Seoul this coming weekend. Just for the weekend though, because I am also just a working man. So just for a long holiday. So I thought I might as well meet up with some people. Although I don’t know anybody in Seoul, haha.
It will be faster to talk through Twitter or via email :) I’ve sent you a tweet :)
hehe, I’m so very sorry and I’m a bit ashamed to say that here in China Twitter is blocked, so I can;t talk to you on Twitter. But we do still have MSN though. Or e-mail. Just contact me on either of them on my gmail: mdejong83(@the rest from the Gmail string).
Oops! I forgot about that! ^_^ Hehe. No problem :) I’ll send you an email :)
안녕하세요 선생님둘!
한국어룰 공부헸어요.
I have just listened to Lesson 17. Wow!
I’m still a beginner in learning Korean language. I was looking for good learning materials but it’s very difficult to find good ones. Happily, just yesterday, I found your website and now it already boosted my knowledge by a mile. The lessons are effective: from lesson 1 to the most recent. They are entertaining too, especially when the teachers tease each other. Now I’m having fun while learning! ;-)
You’ve done great so keep it up! I’m looking forward for the new lessons!
이웹사이트는 정말 좋아요.
감사합니다!
정말 고맙습니다 ^_^!!!!
Hi everyone!!
Thank you so much!! I’ve never found a website so clear!! I think I’ll start learning korean tomorrow! Your lesson are great and they aren’t boring at all!!! I can wait to start!
Great work!! ;)
Thank you so much!! :) I hope you will keep enjoying our lessons!

한국말 잘 하고 싶어요.
도와 주세요~
안녕히 계세요.
감사합니다
i am so exciting….thank you teachers
감사합니다
Hey there,
I’m really appreciate that you guys are trying to help us with the Korean ^^
I’m mongolian and most of the time, it’s really hard to find any Korean language books. Therefore, i was searching useful and helpful site for me. And one day, i found your site. Actually, it was Hyun Woo’s site named “why-be-normal.com”.
After that, i was checking your website out and found talktomeinkorean.com
I think I’m lucky that i can access your site and learn Korean :D
Moreover, i have a request :P kkk. Can you please add more “Interviews”. It’s really good one because it has pdf file and mp3, so i can both read and listen at once :)
Thank you for your job and good luck for your job ^^
Yours,
Ariuka
Helo to Kyeongeun sansaengnim, Hyunwoo Sun sansaengnim and all of the TTMIK followers. TTMIK jaemi imnida, ryt??? I am allan from Davao City, Philippines. I guess nobody knows where on earth is my place but TTMIK has really reached as far as here. I salute my teachers Hyunwoo Sun and Kyeongeun Choi, they really have what it takes to be excellent teachers dealing with language enthusiasts around the globe. Teachers,, i just wanna have some suggestion. I admit that I am yet a beginner in learning Hangul (correct me if am wrong) and am having fun with your lessons. All are well-structured and comprehensive. But i think it would be helpful for us beginners, especially that we are not hearing Korean language everyday to have show interviews aside from the lessons, just like what you had with Koshiba, not for advanced level but for “beginner” level. A show interview where the lessons 1 to 20 of level 1 will be used, and so forth…
I hope that i did not sound so demanding for this suggestion because you guys have, in fact, done already a lot for us who want to learn Korean… Kamsahamnida… Hoping for a response from my teachers…who are also now my idols!!! Godspeed.
I just LOOOOVE this blog! ^^ keep up doing!!! =D
안녕하세요. Thanks for putting together such a great site and the podcasts. The podcasts have clear audio, easy to understand, and the PDFs are AWESOME! I ♥ your site and all the work you guys have done and are doing! Please keep up the GREAT work!!
How do I make donations ?
Thank you for considering making a donation for the site. You can do so by going to one of the workbook posts: http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/lessons/workbook-level-1-lessons-11-20/ 감사합니다.
I did a little donation just now.. A really small amount of money since I’ve just graduated recently and only managed to find a job last week.. Will be making bigger donation next month when I get my 1st pay ^^.. Take it as my gratitude towards talktomeinkorean .
Thank you for providing those free lectures !
omg! i wish i can type in korean like the others.. i really love this site.. and totally loving the podcasts..
i wish i live in korea.. i dont know why but theres just something about korean culture that attracts me..<3 teehee anyways please keep it up.. and make harder questions.. ahahhaaha kidding!
Hello from Romania!
Thank you for your lessons, they help me improve my Korean.
Gamsahamnida!
I’m so happy that you’ve made this podcast– my friends and I are very excited to be learning Korean! Thank you so much.
Rissa :) Welcome to the site!!!
Great job plus an awesome website layout!
Although it’s a little pity that you use English to teach Korean rather than Chinese (since I speak Chinese, haha). I mean there’re some similarities between Chinese and Korean, not grammatically for sure but the noun. Sometimes I can even translate them “character by character”!
But anyway, thanks again for all the works you’ve done.
P.S I have a question, why do Korean like to say “az az fighting”??
(I learned it from your TV drama Full House, and it appears somtimes in other TV dramas as well.)
Keira :) We’d LOVE to make a site for Chinese speakers, because just like you said, 在韩语里很都单子用汉语吧. But for now we only have a site where teach it in English – hopefully in the future!!
아자아자 화이팅 has the same meaning as the Chinese 加油!:)
선생님들 안녕하세요
I am listening to the movie phrases lesson. Great value, I love the way you expand the initial examples.
How about adding a way to leave comments on the store items? Or did I miss something.
감사함니다
Doug :) We’ve added a link to each store item so that you can leave us comments through the news feed! Thank you for the suggestion!
What do you think?
We welcome your comments and suggestions for new ideas, topics, or additions to the learning material we have in place.
